The 14th edition of one of Timisoara’s biggest festivals, PLAI festival, will take place between September 13th and 15th at the Banat Village Museum. The weekend is going to be full of good music and entertaining activities for all ages, so read on…
PLAI Festival 2019 – what, when, where?
PLAI, a local festival reaching its 14th edition in 2019, is organized by volunteers, through the PLAI Cultural Centre (Centrului Cultural PLAI) in Timişoara, and supported by the City Hall.
PLAI is a world music festival, but it is also an event that supports local organizations and creates a space meant to enable communication and collaboration within the local community. During the three days of the festival, the participants will enjoy live music and other artistic moments, but they will also have a chance to take part in various workshops, designed for all ages.
The festival traditionally takes place in early September at the Banat Village Museum, on the outskirts of Timisoara. This year the festival will take place between September 13th and 15th at the same location, but in a space not previously explored by the festival – we will all find out more soon…
A stage for local organizations
Like we have already pointed out, there’s more to PLAI than the music. Even though the music is a highlight, PLAI 2019 will allow you to take part in all sorts of workshops and activities, like: American football, wine-tasting, movie screenings, music workshops, dance workshops, origami and much more.
To not miss anything interesting out, we recommend you to visit the full list of entertainment opportunities, on the event website, here.
